The Tenacious Squaw Valley CEO-Andrew Wirth

 

Andrew Wirth was born on 25th July 1963 in Neubrucke, West Germany. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado and attended the Edinburgh University in Scotland. Wirth is married to Karen De Ridder, who is a real estate lawyer and are blessed with three children. He served as a ranger for the rocky mountain national parks and a wilderness ranger at the park of San Pedro. He was also served as a member of the wild land fire crew based out of the northern part of New Mexico, which inspired him to serve as a volunteered fireman and board member of the North Routt fire protection district. Venturing into his occupation at Steamboat and Intrawest, in 1986, Wirth started as a trainee with the Resort Corporation and Steamboat ski.

Later in 2007, his struggles became fruitful when he joined the parent company Intrawest which in 2006 completed the acquisition of Steamboat. Besides that, Andy Wirth got promoted as the president of sales and marketing. While in Intrawest, he organized local and international marketing strategy, viewing at the finance of mountain and ski resorts. As the leader of the board of directors of the organization, he is the founder of mountain village Associates, which is a business promotion and market group supporting domestic business and sponsored by steamboat. Wirth was an active sportsman who understands the importance of work without play makes Jack a dull boy. Being the chairman of the group of steamboat springs winter sports club, an organization in charge of the growth of winter sports athletes and organization of winter competitive sporting activities.

When one talks about Squaw Valley, what comes to mind is Andrew Wirth. His high endeavors and determination to raise the company, involved struggle, and extra hard work. He was selected the president and CEO of Squaw Valley ski resort, where he succeeded, Nancy Cushing. Under his direction and management as CEO; the company underwent a tremendous million upgrade. This was due to the changes brought in by Wirth. In September 2011, alpine meadows ski resort and squaw valley were announced to be partner in order to provide ticket pass to clients, but with Wirth, he made transformed events acquiring the alpine meadows where he merged the two resorts and led it as its CEO. Wirth is a beneficiary of multiple community service and awards such as the chairman’s outstanding service award from the Reno-Tahoe airport authority board of trustees, who earned the steamboat springs business leader of the year award and made the HSMAI at the highest minds in hospitality and travel sales and marketing lists.   1. For the last year running there has been discussions of late about the success of Wirth’s leadership but it is obvious now. So now the real thepensters review are fully involved with some task and they know that they have to keep up with their reputation. Ways of handling this type of work has to be considered to ensure the top quality every time.
